By creating an account on miAruba, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By using miAruba, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate and current information during registration and to keep your profile up to date.

User Conduct

When using miAruba, you agree to:

• Submit accurate and truthful reports and information.
• Not submit false or misleading pothole reports, pet listings, or event submissions.
• Not harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Not spam, advertise, or post irrelevant content.
• Not use the platform for any illegal activity.
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or other users' accounts.

User-Submitted Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (photos, descriptions, reports). By submitting content, you grant miAruba a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and use your content on the platform for its intended community purpose.

Content Moderation

All user-submitted content (pothole reports, pet listings, events) is subject to review and approval by administrators. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or is deemed inappropriate, without prior notice.

Progressive Web App

miAruba is available as a Progressive Web App (PWA). Installing the PWA is optional. Push notifications require your explicit opt-in and can be disabled at any time.

Third-Party Services

miAruba integrates with third-party services including HandyYa (local services marketplace), OMDB/TMDB (movie data), and Leaflet/OpenStreetMap (maps). Your use of these integrated services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

Disclaimer

miAruba is a community-driven platform provided "as is". We do not guarantee the accuracy of user-submitted content, including pothole locations, pet reports, event details, or pharmacy schedules. Always verify critical information independently.

Limitation of Liability

miAruba and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to reliance on user-submitted information.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of miAruba after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
